Finally

Finally it was time. Marcus was out, but Asante liked that. He would get crazy, worried with her, and with the cubs.
After a few hours of labor, Asante gave birth to three litle cubs, this time two girls and one boy. They were so beautiful... She swore she would protect them from everything that could harm them.
- Asante? - Safiya was still calling for her. An hour ago she started to look for her Queen, and now she was worried. But Asante couldn't answer, after all she was giving birth. The world would have to wait a bit more.
- I'm here! - she answered Safiya. Asante was laying in one of her favorite places, under some green trees that together made a large shade, and it would prtect the newborns from the sun.

- I... I... I gave birth, Safiya. - Said Asante, with a laugh - Could you ask to Kivuli go call Marcus for me? I'm sure he'll come back home.

Asante laughed again, and kept cleaning her babies.

Marcus came home faster than she thought it could be possible.

Marcus sat down next to her, and looked at the cubs with tears in his eyes.
- They're so beautiful... - he mumbled.

Marcus smiled and licked her forehead.
- No one will harm them.

- We must think in names for them. - Said Marcus. - They already have 5 hours fo life and still don't have names.
Asante slept for some hours after Marcus came home. She was too tired to do other thing than sleep.
- Sure! - She smiled. - Can I name her? - she asked, licking her brown cub. - She was the first born.
- A princess, huh? My heir too... Sure. - He smiled.
- Ainisha. My mother's name. Also Dalya said she had dark fur, so... My little Aina.
- Its a perfect name for a perfect cub. - Marcus looked proudly to her. - If so, I'll name her sister. - She turned his eyes to the only grey cub in the litter. - You'll be Kisha, as my lost sister.
- Nice choice. - Asante smiled. - She was the last one.
- So you mean we still have to decide the name of the second born, my boy?
- OUR boy. But yes.
This one was hard. They didn't get to an agreement. Every name that Marcus suggested, Asante hated, and same with her.

After an hour of discussion they decided to call the boy Eran, a name that Marcus suggested and Asante loved.
They introced the cubs to rest of the pride. Akili was the happies of them. She just loved the idea of having girls to play with. Kivuli liked Bhati. It was cool that someday he could play fighting with someone, since Akili hated those games. Especially because she always lost.
In the end of the day, Asante took the cubs to her "den", the same place where they were born.
- Its an amaizing feeling, you know. Marlo already told me how amaizing was to see them growing up, learning how to live in this world. I can't wait till the day they grow up a bit more. - Said Marcus, laying down behind his mate.
Asante smiled.
- Me too.
